Since 1955, Wharram’s Jewellery has been a part of life’s most meaningful moments. What began as a small-town jewellery store has grown into a third-generation family business built on trust, integrity, and lasting relationships, all while remaining rooted in a historic building our community has known for decades.

From watchmaking roots to custom design, Wharram’s Jewellery has grown through three generations while remaining grounded in trust, craftsmanship, and meaningful service.

1955

A Legacy Begins

John Russell Wharram brought his watchmaking business uptown in Leamington and opened a storefront offering jewellery, with the support and partnership of his wife, Gladys Wharram.

1975

The Second Generation

John and Gladys’ son, Wayne Wharram, joined the family business with his gemological degree, a passion for gemstones, and a natural eye for design, beginning to pave his own way within Wharram’s.

A New Home

Wharram’s Jewellery moved across the street into the former Royal Bank building, the historic location we are still proudly known for today.

90s

Growing With Our Community

Through the 80s and 90s, Wharram’s expanded into luxury brands while continuing to offer trusted repairs, appraisals, custom design, and fine jewellery service.

2000s

A Modern Era

When Wayne’s wife, Evelin Wharram, joined the business, she helped curate the store’s style and inventory, bringing a fresh, modern perspective to Wharram’s while honouring its roots.

2017

The Third Generation

Jessica Wharram joined the business as the third generation, bringing her own design perspective and creative energy. She began developing multiple jewellery lines and expanding the custom design experience.
